May 17th, 2008
Members of the Guild will have a booth at this years Art Hop with lots of wonderful things to see and buy. We will also be doing live demonstrations of  woodturning on a lathe.  This year marks the 9th year for the event with 17 blocks of NE Alberta Street shut down to car traffic, Art Hop includes over 150 artists and vendors, music performances, local choirs, theater performances, and interactive art events. Saturday from 11am until 6pm.
 
 
June 20th - 22nd, 2008
Look for Guild members' work at the 45th annual Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts The Festival of the Arts takes place at the Lakewood Center for the Arts and George Rogers Park, both on State Street in downtown Lake Oswego, In the park, you will find a juried Craft Faire of 120 booths featuring fine arts crafts, a delightful variety of foods at the Food Court, a wine and beer garden, and a variety of musical entertainment on the Park Entertainment Stage. The park also features Family Day Activities, and ongoing demonstrations by the artisans of their craft. Admission is free.
 
 
June 28th & 29th, 2008
The Guild will have their booth at the Recycled Arts Festival at Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver. Artists from all over the region are making wonderful handmade arts and crafts from recycled, reused, and salvaged materials. Also look for Guild member Bob Tuck's booth at the festival along with live music, crafts for kids, a farmers' market, and much more. Admission is free.
 
 
July 13th, 2008
The Guild will have live woodturning demonstrations and examples of our work at Craft PDX sponsered by The Museum of Contemporary Craft in the North Park Blocks near 724 Northwest Davis Street.
 
 
August 30th, 31st, September 1st, 2008
The Guild will once again be doing live demonstrations at the twelfth annual Art in the Pearl , the Pearl District's annual Labor Day weekend arts festival, will fill Portland's North Park Blocks on NW 8th Avenue between West Burnside and NW Glisan with art, theater, music, and hands-on art activities for people of all ages. The festival is rated one of the top 10 art festivals in the country, featuring some of the  most talented artists from the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Admission is free.
